It’s okay if you have no idea where to begin; creating a website requires more self-reflection and intentionality than most people realize. If you’re scared to tackle the journey alone, this service is perfect for you… even if you’re still working out the details! I’ll work with you to get a sense of your desired aesthetic, refine your vision, and design a website that feels like home.
I do not use AI in any of my processes including ideating, copywriting, or web building. Though some may find it convenient, I believe using AI in the creative process is a disservice to self-expression (amongst all the other reasons to not use AI). The best websites are pieced together by a billion microdecisions - colors, fonts, the placement of a photo - and these decisions create a mirror reflection of the soul. The more authentic and true you stay to yourself, the easier it is to attract your people. No algorithm or machine can replicate the human touch, or make design decisions based on how it feels. For that, I am honored to do human work in a world pushing automation for the sake of automation!

How it works, step-by-step.
We start with a discovery call where you get to share your vision, ideas, and vibes - this is one of the most important steps that sets the tone for the whole website!
You receive an outlined scope of work + pricing. After a 50% deposit, you share existing copy, images, and branding assets so I can start my design exploration process.
I create two design concepts via homepage mockups, with ample room for feedback on which direction you resonate with most.
Once the homepage is approved, the official buildout phase begins. In this phase, I design the rest of the website directly on Squarespace using the design language set by the homepage. All of the copy and assets are required at this time (for example, the copy for your “About” page). I am pretty flexible and can even work with a huge word dump - but foundational copy is required for a smooth design process.
Finishing touches are made before launch, including favicon, SEO images, double checking all links, custom URL, etc.
We did it! After the remaining 50% payment is received, we’re clear to launch your website and you receive full ownership of your new site!
Please keep in mind: I do require the majority of the copy and assets for your new website before I begin buildout. Not only are you the topic expert, your unique voice needs to shine through.

In the web design world, the going rate of hiring a professional to build a custom Squarespace website can cost anywhere between $5,000 to over $20,000 depending on the scope and complexity of your design.
That being said, your website probably won’t cost $20k (not with me, at least). However, you can typically expect to invest somewhere between $5000 - $8000 for a website like this one, or the ones I’ve designed, shown and linked on this page. I am open to discussing what can be achieved with your desired budget, so please don’t hesitate to reach out. I may even be able to connect you with somebody who is a better fit for your needs.
As an independent designer (and a not a design firm), I do my very best to provide a fair quote that respects my time, experience, and energetic focus, while you receive a beautiful website worth your investment!

I’m a big believer of striking while the iron is hot, and I typically like to move at the same speed of my clients - whether that be fast or slow.
While I have finished a website in three days with full creative control, others have taken much longer. My preferred timeline is about 3-6 weeks, which is much more reasonable for most people. Those who are already prepared with copy and assets (or able to deliver them quickly) will be able to move the fastest.
That being said, creativity can’t be rushed or forced, so I encourage clients to stay receptive to the flow for best results.

Squarespace is very user-friendly and easy to maneuver. No need to call up your developer to make one little edit for $300… you’ll be able to make those adjustments yourself!
I will show you the ropes after handoff so there’s no room for confusion. I also offer email support for one month after launch, and the option for a retainer fee is available.
